Power Tower Inspection UAV
Product Introduction
The power tower inspection UAV combines an industrial UAV platform with multi-source mission payloads, visible-light imaging, thermal infrared detection, and AI recognition to provide a professional aerial inspection platform for transmission lines, towers, fittings, insulators, and corridor environments.
The system replaces traditional walking and tower-climbing inspection, overcoming complex terrain and adverse weather. It automatically checks tower-body defects, broken or loose conductor strands, accessory loosening or displacement, equipment heating, tree obstruction, and external-construction risks. It collects image and temperature data and completes the full process from route planning and autonomous aerial imaging to defect filing and report output for routine transmission-line inspection, fault troubleshooting, and refined operation management.

Functional Characteristics
The system provides route planning, fully automatic aerial imaging, multi-sensor data acquisition, intelligent defect recognition, point-cloud mapping, tower ledger management, inspection-result archiving, data analysis, and standardized report generation. In actual scenarios, the product has the following main characteristics:
- Manual Work Replacement
Personnel do not need to enter mountains for field survey or climb towers, avoiding fall, electric-shock, and mountain-navigation risks and reducing operational hazards at the source. - Full-Angle Inspection Without Blind Spots
The multi-rotor UAV is highly maneuverable and supports 3D all-around inspection. It can reach blind spots such as tower arms, insulator tops, and conductor undersides that personnel cannot safely access, enabling complete coverage. - Very High Operating Efficiency
Inspection efficiency is more than 20 times that of manual work. The system supports large-area, multi-tower batch cruising, materially shortens inspection cycles, and suits large-scale routine line operation and maintenance. - Integrated Multi-Payload Detection
Visible-light and thermal infrared payloads are integrated to detect appearance defects and temperature anomalies in one process. - Strong Adaptability to Complex Environments
With IP55 protection and Level-6 wind resistance, the UAV can operate stably in mountains, Gobi terrain, rain, snow, strong wind, and complex power-grid electromagnetic environments. - Traceable and Quantifiable Data
Inspection photos, videos, point clouds, flight tracks, and defect records are retained throughout the process for standardized archiving, query, review, and traceability, supporting condition-based maintenance. - Centralized Platform Management
The service management platform supports route management, tower ledgers, defect management, result archiving, and multidimensional statistics to realize digital and standardized closed-loop inspection management.
